Longhorns and Outlaws  is Linda's 15th book  — she 
also has three new nonfiction books for young readers 
out in the fall of 2008. 

Linda is well known for her school and library author visits, which she has been doing for twenty-five years. Visits with Linda include powerpoint presentations with Linda's photography of many
spots along the research trail for her outlaw books.
After growing up on the Qu'Appelle Appaloosa Ranch 
and participating in horse shows and gymkhanas all 
through school, Linda draws from her experience, along
with historical research, to create her outlaw books.
